Q2 has come and gone, which means we have some exciting new product updates to share with you. What’s new? Updates to community building features, Admin Console refinements making property management a breeze, and changes to what you can do with two mobile access integrations.

01 Tenants: Never miss another booking or community event

Save bookings to your native calendar

If it’s not in the calendar, it may as well not exist. This feature lets tenants add their bookings directly to their native calendar so they’ll never forget about the awesome amenity they reserved.

App users can choose which calendar to sync with (Apple, Google, Outlook, etc.) and the booking will appear in desktop calendar views too.

This new screen in the Newsfeed of the Spaceflow app gives users an overview of all scheduled events in the channels they follow and within their space. Now it’s easier to discover and join new events!

Update to amenity timeframes

When you set up a new amenity in the Admin Console and set it as a Timeframe type, you can choose the timeframes for which people can book it. Previously, there was a 24-hour limit. Now, based on feedback from clients and new use cases such as renting a guest room, it can be booked for up to 40 days.

02 Admin: Your ticket to efficiency, upgraded 

We’ve shipped a few updates to improve the user experience in the Admin Console and keep things tidy. By hiding terminated spaces from view, the nav bar and listings are cleaner and easier to navigate.

We also made a few changes to keep the design fresh and aligned with our design standards, and to upgrade the overall user experience.

Ticketing updates

One of the most heavily-used modules, Ticketing got some updates in the second quarter based on feedback from clients and the way they use the platform.

Now Admin can create tickets on behalf of app users, supporting workflows and ensuring that issues are logged quickly. Once created, the ticket will also appear in the selected user’s app, and they’ll receive all status updates and comment notifications.

To help you monitor service quality trends over time, you can view ticket ratings in the main dashboard and filter the view by rating.

Document and vendor analytics updates

Big news for the Analytics dashboard, we’ve released two powerful new metrics.

With the new Vendor Performance Insights, we’re providing clients visibility into trending vendors to enable more strategic decision-making about partners and offers in the building.

For the digital documents accessible via the app, clients can track who viewed each document for those use cases requiring confirmed acknowledgement.

03 Integrations: Making mobile access personalized and accessible

Spaceflow’s open API makes it possible to expand and unite the entire proptech ecosystem for our clients, and two of our integration partners are a great example of what can be accomplished.

Aligned with our goal of optimizing operational expenses for clients, the Spaceflow app and Admin Console make it possible to fully automate the booking experience for shared spaces such as coworking meeting rooms. 

With the latest update to our integration with Accessy, it’s possible to share access to booked spaces. This means meeting attendees can get into their booked meeting room, students can get into the game room, residents can join their yoga class in the gym—all independently of any onsite staff involvement.  

Personalization is a key part of tenant experience, and thanks to our integration with FLEXIPASS, even mobile access can be personalized. With this integration, users can see a list of their own accessible doors in the Spaceflow app.

Along with personalization, the FLEXIPASS integration also enhances the visitor experience. Visitors will automatically receive mobile access credentials embedded within their visit confirmation email, eliminating the need for manual key handoffs and ensuring a seamless, secure, and welcoming entry experience from the moment they arrive.
